  • Public Interest Tech @Cornell Tech

    I’m currently Visiting Faculty at Cornell Tech, where I designed and launched our first Public Interest Technology Studio. Built and deliver curriculum for 400+ masters students on using tech for social impact and building tech responsibly.

    Have also curated and moderated 30+ fireside chats with Tech & Society leaders from the White House, Ford Foundation, Echoing Green, New America, Omidyar, Data & Society, Global Impact Investment Network, and more.

  • Startups & Society Initiative

    Co-founded and co-lead Ford Foundation and Omidyar backed project to foster responsible company building practices in startup community. Work with leading founders and investors on developing motivation and facility to incorporate responsible tech practices to drive long term value.

    Published dozen+ case studies, the Responsible Innovation Primer for Founders , and launched the Responsible Innovation Founder Summit.

  • Responsible Innovation Founder Summit

    As part of SSI, co-founded the Responsible Innovation Founders Summit — an annual hybrid event that has attracted 700+ global tech leaders including founders backed by Y-Combinator, General Catalyst, and Sequoia to talk tactically about building and investing in technology companies responsibly.

  • Co-founded Product, Operations, Sales, and Fundraising.

    Swayable

    Co-founder of Swayable (YC W18), which uses data science to create more persuasive media for many of the worlds leading advocacy organizations, social + political campaigns, and brands, including the ACLU, Airbnb, and the Biden-Harris Campaign.

    Co-led early product, sales, operations, and fundraising as founding COO.

  • MIT-MEET

    Advisor and de facto Head of Pedagogy for MIT-MEET — a highly acclaimed MIT-affiliated NGO that offers intensive programming in computer science and social entrepreneurship to highly select Israeli and Palestinian high school students.

    I led development of MEETx — first-of its kind hybrid program that allowed MEET to significantly scale the number of students served while maintaining quality.

    I also co-led curriculum redesign in computer science and social entrepreneurship, trained hundreds of MIT students in pedagogy and instruction, and delivered direct service programs for hundreds of students.

    Spearheaded the implementation of a robust Learning Measurement Evaluation (LME) strategy that was deeply integrated into our pedagogy to drive continuous learning, feedback, and improvement.

    Deeply fortunate to work with some of the most creative, committed, and courageous colleagues and students I’ve ever had the privilege to work with.

  • Flatiron School

    Built and led a diverse, mission-driven, 60-person team. Oversaw expansion to 13 cities, 10x year-over-year revenue growth, and built teacher-training programs with 100 NPS. Launched a new business line that reached $4MM ARR in <24 months while centering socio-economically diverse classrooms and heterogeneous pedagogy.

    The Flatiron School is the best-in-class school for web and mobile development that has worked with the White House and The City of New York on groundbreaking economic mobility initiatives. I was an early partner and executive (~employee #14), and led Precollege + Social Impact work.

  • Speaking

    Frequent keynote speaker and panelist on Public Interest Technology, Social Innovation, and the Future of Work.

    Engagements have included Google, RFK Investors Summit on AI and Ethics, Techonomy, 500 Global, Merck, Sorenson Impact, RFK Mozfest, VentureCrush, MIT, SXSW, Spotify, Harvard Innovation Labs, the US State Department, The Mexico Foundation for Science, Columbia University, Yale University, and others.

    That is my real hair.

    I completed my undergraduate studies at MIT where I received an SB in Physics with concentrations in Applied Math and Political Economy. I was a recipient of the Burchard Scholar award in Social Science.

    I had the privilege to conduct research in experimental Condensed Matter Physics under Dr. Jagadeesh Moodera on superconducting thin films, and under Dr. Richard Locke on sustainability and ethical supply chains.
